Here's what you'll get:
Duration: Temp to Hire
Shift: weekend shift, Fri-Sun 7am-7pm
Pay Rate: $27-$32 an hour
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Other duties may be assigned.
- Perform complex set up and operate mill, lathe and/or router to machine flat and formed parts to inch and metric specifications.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Measure and verify dimensions using inspections tooling
- Perform deburring of parts
- Maintain logs and other necessary documents
- Complete routing and process planning as necessary
- Design or assist in the design of tooling and fixtures
- Set up CNC Machine loading programs, tools, fixtures and setting tool offsets
- Act as a technical resource
- Perform 1st Article of Inspection
- May oversee the work of others
- Work independently with minimal supervision
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Haas VF-3 machine tools
- 5-axis knowledge
- Emphasis on new part introduction and on-offs
- Strong troubleshooting and technical knowledge
- Strong read-through skills on CNC programs
- Ability to manufacture parts from print
- Detail oriented
- Parts can have more than 150 dimensions
- 316 steel and C-22 materials
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- 4-5 years of manufacturing or related work experience
- AA degree or equivalent experience.
- Vocational or technical training
