Description
Acara Solutions is seeking a Structural Design Engineer to join our client on a Direct Hire opportunity located in Grapeland, TX.
Salary: Up to $130K/yr (DOE)
Schedule: M-F, 100% onsite (flexible first-shift hours)

Key Responsibilities:
- Create precise, custom steel joist designs supporting diverse, high-impact construction projects.
- Perform structural design work in accordance with industry standards and company manufacturing processes.
- Review contract documents, including structural and architectural drawings, and project specifications.
- Provide direction and technical support to detailers, shop orders, and production teams throughout project design and development.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, including other design professionals.
- Mentor junior engineers and interns.
Job Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited).
- F.E. (Fundamentals of Engineering) certification.
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Structural Engineer.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure.
