Position: Warehouse Operator
Type: Contract
Functional area: Manufacturing
Worksite: Sanborn, NY
Wage: $18/HR
Schedule:
First Shift: Monday- Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
Second shift - Monday - Friday, 10:30am-7pm
Job Description:
Ensures materials are handled safely both physically and in accordance with company standards. Work with supervision and team leads to meet daily warehouse/manufacturing goals.
Key job functions include, but are not limited to:
- Picking orders for inter-company and third-party customers
- Picking manufacturing orders and staging them at stations
- Receiving freight from inter-company and third-party suppliers
- Put away and handling of received material
- Packaging of parts for kitting cell building stock or third-party kits
- Following all safety requirements from the company report any safety concerns
- Following applicable internal procedures and work instructions
Required Qualifications:
- Good communication skills with co workers
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Manual handling lifting and handling of materials/product both manually and using material handling equipment
- Ability to use material handling equipment wave, pallet jack, etc
Preferred Skills:
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- 6 months of recent related experience
- Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP/Mapics)
