Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Grand Prairie, TX. Interested?

 

Here's what you'd do:

  • Perform various duties in support of end users for IT hardware or software. 
  • Basic technical certification, hardware repair, component-level knowledge, operating systems (Windows, Unix/Linux, application knowledge, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Install and configure network devices (printers, scanners, plotters, PCs).
  • Troubleshoot problems with network printing and scanning devices. Perform data termination/ activation in telecommunication closets, aka network connect (activation of data drops). 
  • Assist in relocating customer employees to the facility (moving PCs and activating data drops in the new location).
  • Troubleshoot network issues with PCs and LAN (duplex mismatches, duplicate IPs, corrupt firewall software, proxy configuration issues).
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service.
  • Set up and configure PC's.

 

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $19.35/hr.

Hours: 4x10 Monday-Thursday.

Length: Contract (12m+ with opportunity of extension).

Job Requirements
 
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Forklift certified.
  • 2 years of experience with technical experience, consisting of hardware repair.
  • 2 years of technical experience, including operating systems such as Windows, Teams, Word, and Excel.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Able to work in a team environment as well as independently.

 

Additional Information:

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be needed to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the necessary employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
  • Clean driving record as an MVR might be run. 
  • Lifting to 50 lbs may be necessary.  
  • Successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance.
