Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical, Optical, Biomedical, Mechatronics, or a related engineering field—preferably with a focus on electronics, optics, or medical devices.
- Minimum 5 to 10 years of engineering experience; experience in medical devices or other highly regulated industries (aerospace, automotive) is strongly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with CMOS image sensors or fiber optic imaging systems.
- Experience integrating LEDs and optical systems in small-form-factor devices.
- Ability to design electronics and optical subsystems at the millimeter scale, with a focus on manufacturability and assembly.
- Proficiency in designing printed circuit boards using KiCAD, Eagle, Altium, or similar software.
- Comfortable using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) to design housings, fixtures, and enclosures.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, organizational skills, and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Knowledge of ISO 13485, ISO 14971, and FDA QSR medical device design controls.
- Experience with IEC 60601 or other medical device safety standards.
- Familiarity with image signal processing and embedded system design.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment with evolving priorities
