Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in North Kingstown, RI. Interested?
Here's what you'd do:
- Machine Operator will operate various card production equipment to personalize debit/credit cards according to customers' specifications.
- Work with other operators, technicians, and supervisory staff to achieve daily/monthly goals.
- Perform minor equipment maintenance and adjustments per written and oral instructions.
- Work independently, performing quality inspections on own work according to production standards.
- Identify potential production and quality problems, recommending remedial, corrective, or contingency action.
- Awareness and compliance with all security and production policies & procedures.
- Operate card production equipment and perform related activities.
- Confirm work receipt.
- Formulate and implement work priority decisions.
- Exceed production output and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Work with other operators, technicians, and supervisory staff to assist with problems and to create an effective work environment.
- Maintain housekeeping standards of the workstation.
- Order supplies as needed.
- Attend appropriate training and meetings as necessary.
- Meet safety standards.
Here's what you'll get:
Pay: $17.50 /hr.
Hours: 40 hours/week (1st Shift).
Length: Temp (5 Months).

- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in operating various card production equipment to personalize debit/credit cards.
- Minimum of 1 year of mechanical experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in safety rules and maintenance instructions.
- Able to work in a high-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills.
- Basic math skills necessary.
- Good communication skills in both written and verbal.
- Good analytical, numerical, and reasoning abilities.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with various concrete variables in situations with limited standardization.
- Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Ability to establish credibility and be decisive - but able to recognize and support the organization's preferences and priorities.
Additional Information:
- Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
- In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be needed to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the necessary employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
- Needed to be standing and operating a machine 6+ hours a day.
