Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Orlando, FL. Interested?
Here's what you'd do:
- The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that products meet established standards of quality, reliability, and performance.
- This role involves inspecting, testing, and sampling materials, parts, and products to ensure they conform to all specifications and quality standards.
- The Quality Inspector works under limited supervision and follows standard procedures and practices to complete tasks.
- Conduct routine inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards and internal and customer specifications.
- Use precision measuring instruments and testing equipment to inspect products and materials.
- Document inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizing re-work and waste, and inputting data into quality databases.
- Identify and report any defects or non-conformities and collaborate with production teams to address and resolve quality issues.
- Perform audits and inspections of processes and procedures to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and processes.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety regulations and procedures.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
- Provide training and guidance to junior inspectors and production staff on quality standards and inspection techniques.
Here's what you'll get:
- Pay rate: $24.04-$26.44/Hour
- Hours: 9/80 2nd Shift
- Length: Contract to Direct (12 Months)

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in Quality Inspection
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Associate Degree
- Minimum of 4 years of experience working in regulated or standardized Quality Management Systems such as ISO9001:2015 or AS9100
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of AS9102 First Article Inspection requirements
- Knowledge of metrology methods.
- Knowledge of GD&T
- Self-starter, able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Possess exceptional communication (both oral and written) and listening skills, with a strong orientation to details, and the ability to make quick, informed decisions.
- Strong relationship-building skills at all levels of an organization and the ability to work effectively across functions within a matrix environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
