Description

Acara Solutions is seeking an Aftermarket Sales Specialist to join our client, a global manufacturer of industrial heat treatment equipment and technologies. 

 

Location: 100% remote with 50% travel. Must reside in the MI, WI, IL areas.

Salary: 70,000K

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Identify customer parts and service needs using furnace serial numbers, drawings, manuals, and past records.
  • Review and follow up on customer inquiries to develop accurate proposals and quotes.
  • Determine material requirements from bills of materials; verify part numbers and check availability.
  • Prepare detailed product quotes, including cost estimates, pricing, and lead times.
  • Process orders by entering details into the ERP system for scheduling, production, and invoicing.
  • Purchase raw materials and outside items as needed, ensuring best pricing and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with coworkers and vendors to support customer satisfaction and company goals.
  • Notify customers of shipment details and order status updates.
  • Recommend spare parts lists and assist with identifying ongoing service needs.
  • Make informed decisions on pricing, scheduling, and sourcing—consulting management when appropriate.
  • Monitor market trends to support profitability and competitiveness.
  • Support and follow the company's Quality Program and corporate procedures.
 
Job Requirements
 
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience is required
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required
  • Workable and efficient knowledge of AutoCAD.
  • Ability to read and interpret a variety of engineering drawings.
  • Ability to efficiently use the computer, Microsoft Dynamics, Microsoft CRM, RX
