Description
Acara Solution is looking for an ECAD Librarian and PCB Designer for our client in a remote location.
Here's what you'd do:
- As an ECAD Librarian and PCB Designer for Undersea Systems, you'll support CCA development for electronics used in high-reliability undersea communication systems.
- Documentation capture, including (bill of material parts lists, ODB++ digital fabrication packages, 3D model generation).
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Associate Degree with 7 years of experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience using Mentor Graphics Xpedition.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience with library management practices.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience with ECAD/PCB layout design processes.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Knowledge of one or more PCB design tools from the Mentor Graphics suite (xDM, Xpedition, DXdatabook, BoardStation, Hyperlynx), or Altium
- Experience with schematic capture in Xpedition
- Experience with library management practices, including Xpedition parts request system, Footprint Expert Enterprise 23, 3D model creation using Solidworks NX or CREO, and Hyperlynx.
- Circuit design and hands-on prototyping experience.
- Basic knowledge of IPC and manufacturing standards.
- In-depth knowledge of CCA fabrication techniques.
- Ability to communicate with suppliers when asked to provide clarification on design documentation packages.
