Description
Acara Solution is looking for a Systems Engineer for our client in Pittsfield, MA.
- Develop, analyze, and manage system requirements aligned with mission and security objectives.
- Design, integrate, and validate hardware and software components.
- Maintain system architecture documentation, interface control documents, and engineering drawings.
- Participate in design reviews, technical meetings, and configuration control boards.
- Support system verification and validation (V&V) via test plans and execution.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with NIST/RMF standards.
- Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot system issues.
- Provide lifecycle support: installation, deployment, maintenance, and sustainment.
- Develop scripts and automation tools (PowerShell, Python) to improve system efficiency.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Job Requirements
Required Skills :
- Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering or Science or Engineering or Mathematics with 5 years of experience.
Preferred Skills :
- Experience with IBM DOORS, Simulink, requirements decomposition, test procedure development, PowerShell, Cisco networking, Linux/Windows administration, virtualization, and cybersecurity tool implementation.
- Agile experience; database administration (Mongo).
- Strong understanding of systems engineering principles, requirements management, and system modeling tools.
- Creative, collaborative team player able to handle increasing responsibilities.
