Description

Acara Solutions is seeking a Accounts Receivable Coordinator to work onsite with our customer in Clarence, NY. Interested? 

  • Pay: $25.00 /hour 
  • Hours: 40 hrs/Week - Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
  • Length: Temporary - 6-12 weeks


 Here's what you'd do:

  • Contact delinquent customers via phone and email to request payment.
  • Maintain detailed records of all collection efforts and update customer accounts in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system (Oracle).
  • Monitor aging reports and prioritize collection efforts based on risk and value.
  • Collaborate with Accounts Receivable (AR) management to identify and resolve process deficiencies.
  • Ensure cash receipts and wire transfers are recorded accurately and timely.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly cash collection targets and call volume metrics.
  • The Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist is responsible for managing and executing collection activities to ensure the timely receipt of outstanding payments.
  • This role involves direct communication with customers, maintaining accurate records of collection efforts, and collaborating with internal teams to resolve payment issues.

 

 
Job Requirements

 
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Microsoft Office.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in maintaining detailed records, contacting delinquent customers, and collections.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Associate Degree in Accounting.
  • Computer knowledge to easily navigate within accounting systems.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability and maturity to manage highly sensitive and confidential information with poise, tact, and diplomacy.
