Here's what you'd do:

• The Data Solution Architect is responsible for designing and delivering enterprise-grade data platforms and solutions that enable advanced analytics and business intelligence. 
• The architect will work closely with engineering, product, and compliance teams to build secure, scalable, and regulatory-compliant data solutions. 
• All solutions must align with the principles, standards, and reference architectures established by the Enterprise Architecture function, ensuring consistency, interoperability, and strategic fit across the organization. 
• Architect and deliver cloud-based data platforms (Azure Data Lake) and scalable data pipelines using technologies such as Databricks, Kafka. 
• Develop and implement (Extract, Transform, Load)/ (Extract, Load, Transform) frameworks for ingesting, transforming, and integrating data from diverse sources, including legacy financial systems, SaaS platforms, and real-time data streams. 
• Design and oversee deployment of data warehouses, lakehouses, and analytics sandboxes to support business intelligence, machine learning, and reporting needs, including Power BI and Snowflake. 
• Define and enforce data governance, metadata management, and data quality standards in accordance with Enterprise Architecture guidance and regulatory requirements. 
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture to ensure all solutions adhere to architectural standards, reference models, and technology roadmaps. 
• Lead technical evaluations and proof-of-concept projects for emerging data technologies (real-time analytics, data mesh, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning platforms). 
• Produce deliverables, including architecture diagrams, data flow maps, security models, and technical documentation, for solution handoff and operational support. 
• Guide Agile/DevOps teams in implementing Continuous Integration /Continuous Delivery pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure-as-code for data solutions.
• End-to-end solution architectures for data platforms, including detailed diagrams, technology stack specifications, and integration patterns. 
• (Extract, Transform, Load)/ (Extract, Load, Transform) pipeline designs and implementation plans for onboarding new data sources and modernizing legacy systems. 
• Data governance frameworks, including policies for data quality, lineage, and access control, are aligned with Enterprise Architecture standards. 
• Technical documentation packages: architecture blueprints, operational runbooks, and security protocols. 
• Prototypes and proof-of-concept implementations demonstrating new data engineering capabilities (streaming analytics, automated data quality checks). 
• Performance benchmarks and scalability assessments for deployed solutions. 
• Risk mitigation plans, including security audit findings and disaster recovery strategies. 
• This role combines technical depth with strategic vision to build data platforms that bridge traditional finance and modern analytics ecosystems. 
• The ideal candidate will strike a balance between innovation and operational rigor to deliver secure, compliant, and user-centric data solutions.  
• Supports an assigned portfolio through architecting and designing comprehensive solutions to meet product needs. 
• Works collaboratively with other Solution Architects to assist in creating solutions that align with architectural standards and principles, leveraging common solutions and services while meeting financial targets.
• Actively participate and collaborate on the design, building, testing, and deployment of technology solutions and designs with the assigned Agile teams.
• Collaborate with domain leadership and enterprise architects to understand business drivers and business capabilities (future and current state) and determine corresponding solution designs.
• Assist domain decision-making by working with domain subject matter experts to articulate the value and tradeoffs of the solution options.
• Participate in the creation of enterprise architecture standards and evaluate the quality and compliance of delivered solutions to ensure alignment with those standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on initiatives in Agile team ceremonies.
• Produce, enhance, and refine conceptual, logical, and physical solution architecture for strategic initiatives that align with Enterprise Architecture principles and vision.
• Contribute to the research and identification of potential impacts of existing, new, and emerging technologies and trends within a domain.
• Participate in governance activities as needed.
• Objectively contribute to the evaluation and resolution of domain-specific architecture problems in partnership with domain subject matter experts.
• Assist other enterprise and solution architects in managing and designing architecture for dependent products.
• Harness existing technology resources through collaboration to benefit solutioning efforts.
• Understand and adhere to the Company's risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls in accordance with the Company's Risk Appetite. 
• Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
• Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
• Promote an environment that fosters diversity and aligns with the client's brand.
• Maintain the client's internal control standards, including the timely implementation of internal and external audit points, as well as addressing any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
• Complete other related duties as assigned

Pay: $40.92 - $68.19 /hr

Hours: 40 hrs / Week 

Length: Temporary (6 months)
