Description
Acara Solution is looking for an Advanced Software Engineer for our client located in Scottsdale, AZ.
- As a software engineer for the Space Force MUOS Program, you'll be a member of a cross-functional team.
- We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team working on a real-time embedded project.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for solving complex system problems by analyzing both code and UML models used for code generation.
- Develop and maintain software for real-time embedded applications.
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex system issues.
- Work with UML models to support model-based engineering.
- Collaborate with other engineers in a team-oriented, Agile/DevOps environment.
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering or Science or Engineering or Mathematics.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on real-time embedded systems.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in model-based design.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software development tools and methodologies (Agile, DevOps).
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Master's Degree
- Agile experience.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++.
- Good understanding of UML.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS).
- Familiarity with hardware interfaces and protocols.
- Knowledge of cellular telecommunications protocols and systems (UMTS).
