Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Grand Prairie, TX. Interested?

 

Here's what you'd do:

  • This opportunity will grant the individual a chance to grow in their professional development by gaining experience in a complex manufacturing process.
  • Conduct time and motion studies to understand current production processes and identify opportunities for improvements.
  • Assist in line balancing to optimize the distribution of labor in key areas of the manufacturing process.
  • Support the development and implementation of standard work procedures.
  • Collect and analyze production data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Assist in designing and creating fixtures and other devices to improve workflow.
  • Document findings and present ideas for improvement to leadership.

 

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $30/hr.

Hours: 20 hours/week (1st Shift).

Length: Temp (8 Months).

Job Requirements

 
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Lean Manufacturing, specifically Green Belt.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Time Studies.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Microsoft Excel - specifically pivot tables, data analysis.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial or Mechanical engineering.
  • Familiar with the concepts of line balancing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with Six Sigma or Kaizen principles.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail.
  • Being self-sufficient.
