Motor Assembly Technician (Entry Level - Mechanical)
Schedule: M-F, 1st shift
- Start time: Flexible, can start any time between 5:30am-7:30am
Pay: $23-26/hr, DOE
Employment Type: Full-Time Temp to perm
Position Summary
Our client is looking for hands-on, mechanically inclined individuals to join the team as Entry-Level Motor Assembly Technicians. This is an ideal role for early-career automotive mechanics, hobby mechanics, or anyone who enjoys working with tools and building things. No electrical experience is required, just solid mechanical ability, reliability, and the willingness to learn.
You'll follow clear work instructions to assemble components for our clients' clean-technology propulsion systems.
What You'll Do
- Assemble mechanical components following standardized work instructions and build procedures
- Use torque wrenches, hand tools, and basic mechanical equipment
- Perform simple mechanical tasks such as bolting, fitting, aligning, and verifying part accuracy
- Read and follow production documentation and quality checks
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety guidelines
- Support higher-volume production during the last two weeks of each month (built-in overtime)
