Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work on-site with our client in Salt Lake, UT who specializes in Aerospace and Defense manufacturing
Here's what you'd do:
- They have the primary responsibility of assembling products per work instructions.
- This is an entry-level position, with training and support provided to ensure the successful assembly of the product.
- Read work instructions and verify that work instructions match the assignment.
- Learn new work instructions as needed.
- Collect needed materials from bins.
- Set up workstations per work instructions.
- Assemble parts and inspect your work as instructed.
- Complete training promptly.
- Assist other manufacturing staff with their duties as requested.
- Assist with other projects as requested by a member of management.
- Perform equipment maintenance and calibration as needed in work instructions.
- Verify work instructions match the assignment.
Here's what you'll get:
Pay: $18.00 /hr
Hours: 9/80 (1st Shift). Off every other Friday. Will work 36 hours one week and 44 hours the next.
Length: Temp (12 Months).

- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 Month of manufacturing experience.
- Soldering experience.
- Ability to read and understand Device/Work instructions.
- Ability to understand verbal work instructions.
- Able to succeed in a highly regulated compliance-oriented environment while providing service excellence.
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide by 10's and 100's
- Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurements, volume, and distance
- Ability to carry out tasks through detailed written or oral instructions.
- Basic computer skills.
- IPC soldering certification.
- Adept soldering skills.
- Ability to read/write/communicate in the English language.
Additional Information:
- Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
- Ability to lift to 25 lbs. on a repeated basis.
- Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less)/colour vision (ability to identify and distinguish colours)/depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships).
