Description
Acara Solutions seeks a Senior Advanced Software Engineer for our client in Annapolis Junction, MD.
- As a software engineer, you'll be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for the development and delivery of a complex system critical to our customer mission.
- Develop and enhance software within a complex, multi-component system.
- Collaborate across a cross-functional engineering team.
- Apply modern development practices to improve performance and reliability.
- Support complete software development lifecycle activities.
- Ensure solutions meet mission and system requirements.
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering or Science or Engineering or Technology or Mathematics.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Embedded Software in a Linux environment.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience with Qt/C++/UI at a mature production level.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience with Drivers and interfaces to COTS devices and FPGAs.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience with Optics/RF Devices.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Master's Degree.
- Agile experience.
- Creative thinker with demonstrated success leading the software development life cycle.
- Expertise in applying technical standards and methodologies to solve challenges.
- Exceptional communication skills with the capacity to secure buy-in on concepts and ideas.
- Collaborative team player eager to provide technical leadership and position others for success.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others.
