Position Summary: The Shipping and Receiving Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the shipping, receiving, and warehouse functions to ensure the efficient, accurate, and timely movement of goods.

Shift: Monday-Friday morning schedule

Primary Responsibilities:
- Supervise, schedule, and coordinate shipping, receiving, and warehouse personnel to meet operational goals.
- Oversee the loading, unloading, inspection, and documentation of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Verify accuracy of shipments, bills of lading, packing slips, and purchase orders.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, customer requirements, and transportation regulations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts.
- Work closely with production, purchasing, and customer service to support on-time deliveries.
- Select and coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and courier services.
- Train and mentor team members on proper material handling, safety practices, and company procedures.
- Investigate and resolve shipping/receiving discrepancies or damage claims.
- Enforce workplace health, safety, and housekeeping standards in the warehouse.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Prepare and maintain performance reports on shipping accuracy, turnaround times, and carrier performance.
- Follow all Occupational Health & Safety Regulations and Company Health & Safety Policies and Procedures.
Educational Requirements:
- Post Secondary education in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred.
Required Skills & Expertise:
- Post-secondary education in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse operations, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
- Knowledge of freight carriers, logistics documentation, and customs processes (if applicable).
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency with ERP systems, warehouse management software, and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to motivate and manage a team.
- Ability operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment (license/certification may be required).
- Valid G drivers license
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Forklift experience (counter balance)
- ERP experience (Visual Manufacturing)
