Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work on-site with our client in Hilton Head Island, SC. Interested?
Here's what you'd do:
- The Manufacturing Technician A (Laser Assembly Technician) will focus on Laser Transmitter manufacturing and work in a cleanroom environment, performing the business's day-to-day operational needs.
- This position installs, aligns, and operates laser transmitters and components.
- They assist in the build techniques to ensure the successful product output from the cleanroom and laser operations area.
- Develops techniques and procedures for building lasers
- Assembles and tests optical, mechanical, and electrical subassemblies.
- Completes optical bonding, cleaning, and inspection of laser units with close attention to detail.
- Builds wiring harness, sells, and performs Printed Circuit Board (PCB) assembly of electrical and electrooptical subassemblies.
- Identifies problems and issues, resolves most issues, and makes recommendations for improvements in yield.
- Responsible for ensuring that specified quality standards are met for all tasks completed.
- Demonstrates ethical and professional behavior in accordance with company values.
- Perform job duties in a manner that maintains compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations, policies, and procedures
- Follows established processes to complete tasks
- All other assignments as needed.

- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year of experience in assembling and testing optical, mechanical, and electrical subassemblies.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Additional Information :
- Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
- Able to work weekends and evenings as needed to meet company objectives.
