Interior Manager / Lead - KA-ARK
Location: Bentonville, Arkansas | Full-Time / Direct Hire | Salary: $150,000/year
About Us:
Acara Solutions and our client are seeking a highly skilled Interior Manager/Lead to join our team and oversee all aspects of aircraft interior completions at the KA-ARK facility. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for delivering high-quality interiors on time, within budget, and with maximum efficiency.
What You'll Do:
- Lead and manage the Interior Shop, including Upholstery, Trim, Cabinet, and Finish, ensuring all work meets company quality standards.
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and standard interior specifications.
- Collaborate with Sales, Paint, and Inspection teams to coordinate workflows and maintain project timelines.
- Recruit, train, and mentor skilled craftsmen to build a strong, efficient team.
- Monitor work in progress to minimize errors, improve efficiency, and uphold safety standards.
- Support inventory management and vendor relationships to ensure the timely delivery of materials.
- Provide guidance and performance evaluations to staff while fostering a professional, high-quality work environment.
- Participate in business development and leverage industry contacts to grow the interiors business.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience managing aircraft interior/completions operations.
- Strong knowledge of Upholstery, Trim, Cabinet, and Finish processes.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multi-disciplinary projects.
- Skilled at training, mentoring, and developing staff.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- Safety-focused with experience implementing OSHA-compliant procedures.

LANGUAGE ABILITY:

Software: Information Management System, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Internet software, MS Project Management, E-mail.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
This position requires a current driver's license.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The noise level is usually moderate, and this position is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and outside weather conditions.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to walk, sit and talk or hear, stand, walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and / or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move in excess of 25 pounds. This position requires close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
SAFETY EQUIPMENT USED:
The safety equipment in the Interior Shops include ear plugs, safety glasses, respirators, dusks masks and back belts for loads in excess of 25 pounds.
