Technical Sales Position Summary
The Sales Engineer generates new business by selling Client's advanced electronic component testing services to aerospace, defense, and high-reliability customers.
Client is seeking a technical sales professional who understands electronics, MIL-STDs, and the world of complex testing, and who brings the discipline, humility, hunger, and intelligence required to represent Client's brand.
This role is a fit for a self-starter who wants autonomy, ownership, and the thrill of building something great in a small, fast-paced business.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Account Growth
- Identify, pursue, and win new customers in aerospace, defense, semiconductor, and high-reliability sectors.
- Develop proposals for complex test programs.
- Understand customer requirements and translate them into clear scope-of-work.
Technical Engagement
- Discuss MIL-STD-883, 750, 202, 1580, electrical testing, DPA, screening, and environmental testing confidently.
- Collaborate with engineering to develop quotes and ensure technical accuracy.
- Present AAA's capabilities in a clear, compelling manner.
Account Management
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and rapid response to needs.
- Build long-term, trust-based relationships with critical industry players.
Pipeline & Strategy
- Develop a structured sales pipeline.
- Provide forecasting and market insights.
- Represent Client at industry events and conferences.
