Cost Analyst

Position Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Cost Analyst to support the day-to-day

accounting, reporting and analysis. We are looking for someone with keen

attention to detail who can successfully multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Weekly cost analysis for KPI metrics.

* Performing monthly, quarterly & annual closing activities; completing

account reconciliations; managing job costing processes, including tracking

project costs and profitability.

* Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) activities including assisting with

budget and forecast preparation and providing monthly variance analysis to

plan.

* Own the inventory cycle counting program, including implementation at

facilities that need to participate.

* Own quarterly inventory costing updates and customer re-pricing.

* Calculate and present overhead burden rates as required, at least annually.

* Crosstrain to provide support to other accounting staff - KPI's,

reconciliations and financial reporting.

* Ad-Hoc costing analysis to support business decision making.

* Support audit engagements.

* Support other divisions as required.

Educational Requirements:

* Post-secondary education in accounting with CPA designation or pursuing.
