Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work ON-SITE with our client in Wilmington, MA. Interested?
Here's what you'd do:
- Responsible for the identification and documentation of quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical systems.
- Facilitates the implementation of standards, methods, and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision, accuracy, and reliability of company products.
- Leads the preparation and execution of internal audits within established manufacturing and production controls to ensure compliance with internal and external specifications and standards.
- Liaises with auditing groups and inspectors to develop formal written reports and recommend corrective actions.
- Identifies trends in discrepancies and collaborates with process owners to refine and optimize business processes.
- Oversees testing department activities and the work of inspectors.
- Reviews, approves, and controls work order flow tags.
- Develops inspection techniques, tools, and supplemental inspection instructions in support of standards, methods, and procedures.
- Participates in supplier corrective and preventative actions, including customer escapes, process nonconformities, supplier corrective actions, customer and change control, and material review board meetings.
- Works under moderate supervision to set objectives for own job area.
- Communicates with contacts inside and outside the own team to explain and interpret operational processes, practices, and procedures
- Identifies and addresses changes within own job area.
- Works to achieve operational targets with some impact on departmental results.

Pay: $40.00 - $43.00 / hr.
Hours: 9/80 hrs/Week.
Length: Temp (12 months).

- High School Diploma or GED with 10 years of experience.
- Minimum 4 years of experience with CMM software Zeiss CALYPSO.
- Associate Degree with 6 years of experience.
- Good understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Knowledge of Keyence machines.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD models.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Close attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Interpretation of drawings.
Additional Information:
- Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
- Able to sit for long periods of time.

- Successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD security clearance.
