Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work ON-SITE with our client in Buffalo, NY. Interested?
Here's what you'd do:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair production machinery and facility equipment, including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to minimize downtime and maximize equipment lifespan.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve equipment-related issues effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance activities to ensure timely and effective maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality procedures at all times.
- Support installation and commissioning of new equipment as needed.
- Maintaining production machines and all facility equipment.
- Performing unscheduled repairs on production equipment and all facility equipment.
- Performing scheduled preventive maintenance activities on production equipment and making repair recommendations.
- Detecting faulty, improper, and unsafe operating conditions.
- Using hand and power tools, as well as material handling equipment.
- Collaborating with maintenance and production personnel.
- Complying with safety regulations.
- Maintaining an organized work area and supporting product quality programs.
Here's what you'll get:
Pay: $35.00 / hr.
Hours: 40 hrs/Week. (1st shift).
Length: Direct Placement.

- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Welding and fabricating.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with electrical systems.
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Maintenance or Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of industrial maintenance or related experience.
- Good mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and plumbing skills.
- Communication proficiency (written and verbal).
- Experience with a computerized maintenance management system.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment, tools, and supplies, and manipulate heavier loads with team or appropriate equipment needed.
- Knowledge of industrial maintenance practices and safety regulations.
Additional Information:
- Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
- The ability to work in, on, around, over, and under fixed equipment and machinery, as well as work from lifts, ladders, and scaffolding, is needed.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items up to 50lbs as needed.
- Ability to drive and operate a forklift.
