Description
Acara Solution is seeking an Electrical Engineer for our client, located in Canonsburg, PA.
- We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Progeny/M&SS Line of Business.
- Additionally, this role involves designing and developing complex analog circuits and implementing VHDL code for hardware description.
- Design and analyze AC-DC and DC-DC power systems and power control.
- Integrate, test, troubleshoot, and verify electrical hardware.
- Design and develop analog circuits, including amplifiers, filters, power supplies, and signal conditioning circuits, to enhance the performance of electronic systems.
- Develop and implement VHDL code for hardware description and design.
- Design and troubleshoot high-speed digital circuits and systems.
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Science or Engineering or Technology or Mathematics with 2 years of experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with multilayer PCB design.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with high-speed digital design.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Master's Degree with 6 months of experience.
- The successful candidate will possess a good background in power system design, electrical hardware integration, troubleshooting, and high-speed digital design.
- Experience in the automotive, medical, or Defense industries.
- Expertise in power system design:
- DC/DC:
- Buck
- Boost
- LDO
- AC/DC
- Proficiency with communication protocols such as CAN, SPI, I2C, and Ethernet.
- Design of safety-critical circuits.
- Background in automotive, medical, or defense industries.
- Proficiency in VHDL for hardware description and design.
