Temp Accounts Payable position
Location: Wilsonville, OR
Schedule: onsite, M-F, 40 hours per week
Pay: $27-31/hr, DOE.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Associate to join our finance team. This role is responsible for processing invoices, ensuring accurate and timely payments, and supporting financial reporting. The ideal candidate will combine strong transactional skills with analytical capabilities to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and reconcile vendor invoices, expense reports, and payment requests in accordance with company policies.
- Ensure timely and accurate payment to vendors while maintaining strong vendor relationships.
- Review accounts payable transactions for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal controls.
- Perform month-end and period-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
- Assist in resolving invoice discrepancies and researching payment issues.
- Analyze accounts payable data to identify trends, anomalies, or process improvement opportunities.
- Prepare reports and summaries of accounts payable activity for management review.
- Support audits and provide documentation as required.
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of related experience
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends or anomalies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
