Description
Acara Solutions is looking for a Material Handler for one of our clients in Garden Grove, CA.
Pay Range: $20-$21.
Monday-Friday: 5:30am-2pm
Job Description
* Participate in daily warehouse activities, including the shipments to customers,
vendors and other MCHP sites, both domestic and international.
* Receiving incoming material, processing in multiple ERP systems
* Learn the ERP systems that are used in the warehouse to include BaaN, AX2012 and
the SA tool.
* Using the Ace government system, for filing shipments over $2500 in value.
* Prepare shipping documents for all shipments leaving
* Perform other duties as assigned.
* Maintain regular attendance.
* Willing to work overtime, when required

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
* High school diploma or G.E.D. Certificate and five years warehouse or related
experience.
* Dangerous goods certification, preferred
Experience in:
* Strong shipping and logistics experience
* Shipping both international and domestic.
* Creating airway bills in FedEx, UPS and DHL systems.
* Understanding 3 party carriers eg: KWE, Morrison etc
* Understanding of Invoices, HTS/ECCN numbers, EEI filing
* Able to lift up to 50 lbs/No previous issues with back or any type of lifting issues.
* Operation of a forklift
* Able to work in a fast paced environment.
* Interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy.
* Very customer service oriented
