Description
Acara Solutions is seeking a direct hire Staff Accountant for a client in Buffalo, NY.
Type: Direct Hire
Salary: $55-65,000K, DOE
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 100% onsite
Responsibilities:
- Record and post daily financial transactions while maintaining accurate supporting documentation.
- Process vendor invoices, customer billing, and monitor outstanding balances.
- Contribute to monthly and annual close processes by organizing data and preparing schedules.
- Perform account analyses and resolve discrepancies within bank and ledger accounts.
- Compile financial statements and assemble materials needed for internal and external audits.
- Maintain adherence to internal controls, accounting standards, and company procedures.
- Provide analytical and administrative support to senior accounting staff on special projects and reporting initiatives.
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Basic understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience is required
