 San Antonio TX. Interested? 

Here's what you'd do:

• We are looking for a hands-on experienced User Interface/experience (UI/UX) Developer/Programmer who can drive and advance our next generation modern digital workplace technology digital initiatives.
• This person will be the lead resource for communicating and working with business & technology end users to create and support holistic solutions for some high visibility on-going projects.
• As a UI/UX Developer you'll be responsible creating ADA compliant Mobile/Web experiences working with full stack application development teams and Adobe DXP/AEM/Analytics stack would be a plus.
• The developer needs to have a keen understanding ADA/Accessibility compliance standards and platforms (Site Improve) (ADA/WCAG) and mitigation best practices to meet application/code compliance on modern web technology stacks especially front-end programming.
• Research, design, develop, test, build, and coordinate the conversion and/or integration of UX designs into the JavaScript/Java codebase ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs standards
• Act as designer-developer, switching hats in both the areas of design & develop, as Subject Matter Expert (SME) assisting with decision making for some high visibility on-going projects
• Create clean semantic HTML markup that passes WCAG & ADA/508 Accessibility standards & compliance
• Provide development and support to the customer-facing design system including new components, defects, accessibility, and page templates
• Collaborate with analysts, developers and architects for successful implementation and component requirements
• Remain current on user interface framework trends and programming techniques and suggest or research on new tools and methods as needed
• Design and maintain design files, wireframes, and mock-ups
• Design and develop UI and UX interfaces and assist with new user interface testing or participate in usability reviews
• Hands on development on front end user frameworks (Vue.js, AngularJS, Reacts, jQuery)
• Provide responsive websites apps development and support to the customer-facing design system including new components, defects, accessibility, and page templates
• Act as designer-developer, switching hats in both the areas of design & develop, as Subject Matter Expert (SME) assisting with decision making for some high visibility on-going projects
• Develop reusable and responsive, interactive patterns and code libraries that meet the highest W3 standards for HTML, JavaScript and CSS
• Collaborate with business analysts, senior developers and architects for successful implementation and component requirements in a SDLC process
• Research, design, develop, test, build, and coordinate the conversion and/or integration of frontend designs into the JS/Java codebase
• Participate in conceptualizing, prioritizing, and creating strategies for the product UX
• Develop well-structured and maintainable code that follows the best practices and industry standards Work with team members to develop UI prototypes as necessary and validate ideas with a data-driven approach
• Design and develop UI and UX interfaces to meet standards and needed.
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
• Remain current on user interface trends and programming techniques and suggest new tools and methods as necessary.
• History of working with cross functional teams using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Skills, knowledge, and experience using end to end Human centred design-HCD techniques including design, research, and usability

Pay: $ 50.71 /hour

Hours: 40hours/week

Length:  Temp to direct (12month.)
