Required Skills / Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing role.
- Minimum of 3 years of Microsoft Office suite experience with MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Publisher
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an engineering setting, collaborating and assisting MEs.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with cable or harness production and the ability to analyze the schematics and diagrams used to build them.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Lean Manufacturing
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Production
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Blueprint Reading
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Stripping and Crimping Wires
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Familiarity with SAP (Qnotes, Routings, Bills of material) or a related manufacturing system
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing concepts and techniques and experience in generating/implementing process improvements
- Experience in Soldering
- Functional knowledge of tooling
- IPC/WHMA-A-620 and J-STD-001 trained and certified
- Familiarity with mechanical, power, and pneumatic tools
- Familiarity with cable wire cutters and stripper machines
- Familiarity with cable and harness production, and can analyze electrical and mechanical schematics and diagrams
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Ability to provide technical guidance and timely problem resolution to production floor operators
- Good interpersonal skills and able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Collaborate in the creation of manufacturing engineer instructions and visuals
- Ability to read and understand engineering design drawings and interpret design specifications and their applicability to manufacturing.
- Ability to work in a production environment
- Demonstrate Technical and Creative Skills
