Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work ON-SITE with our client in Wendell, NC. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Install circuit breakers, relays, switches, busbars, contactors, and meters into switchboard panels.
  • Mount electrical devices according to design drawings and specifications.
  • Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings.
  • Follow assembly instructions to place and connect components correctly.
  • Connect wires, cables, and terminals inside the switchboard.
  • Ensure correct labeling, routing, and tightening of connections.
  • Inspect assembled panels for accuracy and safety.
  • Perform electrical continuity tests and functional checks before delivery or installation.
  • Operate hand tools and electrical assembly tools such as screwdrivers, wire strippers, crimping tools, and testing devices.
  • Follow electrical safety standards and company procedures.
  • Ensure the switchboard meets required electrical regulations.

 

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $19.00 / hr.

Hours: 40 hrs/Week. (1st shift).

Length: Contract (12 months).

Job Requirements

 
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical assembly.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings (blueprints) to assemble the product.
  • Ability to use and read a measuring tape with accuracy.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English.

Additional Information:

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
  • Ability to work with hand tools (such as open wrenches, sockets, screw drivers, hammer, torque wrench), air-driven tools (such as screw drivers, sockets, nailers), and power tools (such as drill machines, shear machines, band saw) to assemble steel enclosures consisting of steel, fiberglass, and copper parts.
  • Ability to lift 35# consistently.
