Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work Hybrid with our client in Buffalo, NY. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • In this role, you will be part of the team responsible for the automation of software installations to all endpoints throughout the bank.
  • This includes Laptops, Desktops, Tablets, Servers, and Virtual devices, as well as the Operating Systems used in the environment.
  • Through standardized methods and tools, this team provides a stable endpoint environment for users' applications.
  • The ideal candidate will bring an understanding of basic Software Automation processes and techniques, as well as an ability to facilitate effective communication and collaboration with other internal technical teams.
  • Assisting the Packaging Team with developing processes as we move towards Microsoft Intune.
  • Helping to create a remediation process for application vulnerabilities.
  • Working to help further automate the Packaging processes.
  • Opportunity to help out with packaging for our MAC OS environment.
  • Monitor the Jira board for packaging requests.
  • Evaluate the requirements of the packaging request to make sure they are complete.
  • Smoke test the application and evaluate the best method for packaging.
  • Complete the packaging process by automating the installation, including testing through our SCCM delivery tool, to prepare the application for UAT.
  • Provide technical assistance to the client Desktop Engineering Team on application packaging and delivery.
  • Provide high-level support for SCCM Operations to assist them with failed deployments or installations.
  • Routine collaboration with other client Bank internal technical teams responsible for the configuration, security, maintenance, and support of the Desktop Environment.
  • Produce and maintain packaging standards, knowledge base, operating procedures, guidelines, and system documentation.
  • Build automation into daily processes to improve the ease of doing business.
  • Perform moderate to complex system administration tasks across supported technology


Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $51.00 /hour.

Hours: 40 hrs/Week.

Length: Contract (12 Months).

Job Requirements

 
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED. 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with a Windows environment
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with software automation techniques, scripting, and operating systems

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a medium to large enterprise IT environment
  • Experience managing and implementing projects of a medium to large scale.
  • Experience with Jira and Service Now
  • Experience scripting with PowerShell
  • Knowledge of the following automaton tools and operating systems is mandatory: Microsoft SCCM as it pertains to software delivery and monitoring, InstallShield, PowerShell, PSAppDeploy Toolkit (PSADT), Microsoft Windows 10 & Windows 11, as well as Microsoft Windows Server.
  • Other tools, such as Intune and VB Script.
  • Knowledge of MAC OS.
  • Familiar with enterprise desktop solutions using industry standard tools, for example, Microsoft SCCM / Intune, JAMF Pro, or other applicable products.
  • A good working knowledge of how applications interact with the Operating System.
  • Strong collaboration with technology partners.
  • A team player mindset with an ability to thrive and effectively communicate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
  • Demonstrated sound attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear instructions.
  • Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills
