Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical or Engineering.
- Minimum of 12 years of commercial or military aircraft dynamic analysis, including the following:
- Create finite element models using MSC Patran or Siemens Femap.
- Determine natural frequencies and mode shapes with MSC Nastran (SOL 103).
- Determine frequency and transient response with MSC Nastran (SOL 111 & 112).
- Develop static equivalent loading and dynamic stiffness requirements for impact, aircraft ditching, shock, and vibration conditions.
- Simulate bird strike in LS-DYNA.
- Analyze and support testing for dynamic environment conditions.
- Prepare analysis reports, test plans, and test reports necessary for airworthiness.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
- NX (CAD), Teamcenter, predictive acoustic analysis, flutter analysis, instrumentation, and test for verification of structural dynamic parameters, FAA, and U.S. military airworthiness requirements.
