Description
Acara Solutions seeks a Software Engineer for our client in Scottsdale, AZ.
Here's what you'd do:
- Design, develop, and maintain software solutions using C/C++ for mission-critical communication systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to build resilient hardware and software solutions.
- Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, including requirements, design, development, and testing.
- Utilize collaborative source control tools and agile methodologies to deliver high-quality code.
- Create and maintain technical documentation including design, development, and test artifacts.
Payrate: $62.64
Job Requirements
Required skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering or a Science, Engineering or Technology or Mathematics
- Minimum 2 years of experience in collaborative source control (Synergy, GitLab)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in software requirements and documentation (Design, Development, and Test Documents and Diagrams)
Preferred skills:
- Master Degree
- Minimum 6month of experience in Agile.
- Strong understanding of software development process, as well as software engineering concepts, principles, and theories
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages
- Clear understanding of the software development process.
- Ability to grasp and apply new information quickly and handle increasing responsibilities with growing complexity
- Linux background, including device trees and drivers.
- Proficiency in Python programming language
- Experience in software architecture
- Ability to read and understand hardware schematics and datasheets.
- Creative thinker with demonstrated success through the software development life cycle
- Collaborative team player eager to provide technical execution
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with notable record of securing buy-in on concepts and ideas
- Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others

- Requires the ability to obtain an Active Secret Clearance
