ACARA Solutions and our client in Scottsdale, AZ have a contract-to-hire position available

Systems Engineer

As a Systems Engineer, you'll be a member of cross-functional hardware, software, and system design teams responsible for the realization of complex computing and communications systems. You'll contribute to CONOPS, requirements definition, system modeling, performance analysis, design, integration, test, and verification of these systems. Occasional travel in support of field test events.

  • Hardware Prototype Development, 'Hardware Integration', 'Hardware in-the-loop' Systems Integrations and Test Experience
  • Electrical Engineering and/or Systems Engineering, particularly with communications or digital signal processing focus
  • Experience with Agile hardware, software, or firmware development, DevOps, CI/CD
  • Experience with Digital Engineering/Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)/SySML/MagicDraw/Cameo

Job Requirements

 

Required skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering or Science or Engineering or Technology or Mathematics 
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Hardware Prototype Development, 'Hardware Integration', 'Hardware in-the-loop' Systems Integrations and Test .
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Agile hardware, software, or firmware development, DevOps, CI/CD
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Digital Engineering/Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)/SySML/MagicDraw/Cameo.

Preferred skills:

  • Master's Degree
  • Electrical Engineering or Systems Engineering, particularly with communications or digital signal processing focus
  • Success leading the systems development life cycle with strong proficiency with requirements management and system modeling tools.

Additional Information

  • Requires the ability to obtain an Active Secret Clearance
