Acara Solution is looking for a Digital Hardware Design Engineer for our client located in Scottsdale, AZ.

 Here's what you'd do:                  

  • Design and develop digital hardware schematics and layouts for advanced systems
  • Work with ARM processors, microcontrollers, and high-speed memory interfaces
  • Integrate DDR3, DDR4, and LPDDR4 memory into hardware designs
  • Implement and validate digital interfaces such as I2C, SPI, and SDIO
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust hardware solutions.
 
Job Requirements

 
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Science or Engineering or Technology or Mathematics with 5 years of experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in schematic capture and layout design of digital subsystems and components for Software Defined Radios (SDRs), use of lab test equipment, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other test equipment
  • Minimum 5 years of experience designing PCBs/PWBs using Siemens Xpedition or similar tools.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree with 3 years of experience
  • An understanding of the hardware development process throughout the lifecycle of a program, including design for manufacturing and design for test.
  • Knowledge of Siemens Xpedition or similar tools for schematic entry, constraint definition, and signal integrity/power integrity analysis.
  • Experience designing PCBs/PWBs, including using advanced materials, packaging techniques, and high-speed interfaces.
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills, breaking down complex technical problems logically and finding efficient solutions.
  • Cross-disciplinary communication skills, working effectively with software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams.
  • Team collaboration, offering and receiving feedback constructively, and mentoring junior engineers when needed.

Additional Information :

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
  • Requires the ability to obtain an Active Secret Clearance
