Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Greenville, NC. Interested?
Here's what you'd do:
- Perform proper cleaning methods, such as emptying trash, wiping techniques of equipment, mopping of walls, ceilings and floors.
- Responsible for the operation and maintenance of all cleaning equipment.
- Responsible for the preparation of cleaning/sanitation solutions and cleaning materials to specifications.
- Must possess the willingness to learn new concepts to fully understand aseptic technique and demonstrate proper cleanroom behavior at all times.
- Identifies and communicates any material or procedural discrepancies.
- Adheres to all regulatory and compliance requirements defined in Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
- Follows and executes client's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Accurately documents solution prep and cleaning activities in logbooks according to Good Documentation Practices (GDPs).
- General cleaning of the building and keeping it maintained and in good condition.
- Cleaning and stock restrooms.
- Ensure doors are locked after hours.
- Clean up spills with appropriate equipment.
- Keep cleaning supplies in stock.
- Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
- Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs and ladders to prepare facilities for events such as banquets and meetings.
- Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
- Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
- Steam-clean or shampoo carpets.
- Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.

Required skills:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a cleanroom environment.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in handling and storing cleaning equipment and supplies properly
Preferred skills:
- Ability to read, write and understand English
- Willingness to be cross trained to assist in other departments when needed.
Additional Information
- Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
- In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the necessary employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
- Must be able to work standing, bending and reaching overhead for long periods of time.
- Must be able to work around various cleaning chemicals that produce non-hazardous odors.
- Must be able to wear appropriate gowning and PPE covering most all parts of the body and face.
