Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Charlotte, NC. Interested?

Here's what you'd do: 

  • Operation and basic understanding of manual machines; mills, grit blasting, rollers, etc.
  • Capable to operate basic equipment such as furnaces, Air-flow stands, spot welder, etc
  • Product and equipment movement using Fork Truck, crane operations, hand trucks.
  • Operation of air tools, such as grinders, air hammers,
  • Understand the consequence of metal removal for future reuse of parts
  • Properly use basic inspection tools Micrometres, Pie Tape, Depth Gages.

Here's what you'll get:

Hours: 40 hours/week

Length: Contract (12 month)

Job Requirements

 

Required skills:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in operating manual machining equipment.

Preferred skills:          

  • Pass an assessment to demonstrate hand skills and mechanical aptitude
  • Capability to operate manual machines; mills, grit blasting, etc.
  • Obtain crane and Fork Truck license
  • Capable to operate of air tools, such as grinders, air hammers, polymer dispenser, etc
  • Willing and capable of working outside
  • Capable of being fitted with respirator

Additional Information

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the necessary employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs
  • Able to change our remnant blast/coating media 50 gallon barrels
