Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work remotely with our client in  NY. Interested?

Here's what you'd do: 

  • Provide after hour support as required for project implementations or responding to incidents.
  • Determine root cause, identify permanent resolution and implement the fix.
  • Complete final review and approval of documentation created or updated by less experienced staff.
  • Use tools to help automate processes and make systems more efficient, manageable, available, and secure.
  • Participate in and support capacity planning and development of long-term strategic goals for systems and software in conjunction with Engineering and Architecture.
  • Respond to and resolve incidents; work with vendor to identify and implement fix. Use advanced diagnostic skills to troubleshoot issues.
  • Provide guidance during incidents to less experienced staff.
  • Identify root causes of system issues and work with partner teams to fix the cause.
  • Provide expert problem-solving of technical incidents based on mastery of system and adjoining systems.
  • Provide guidance to less experienced team members.
  • Understand and adhere to the Company's risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company's Risk Appetite.
  • Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
  • Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the client Bank brand.
  • Maintain client internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
  • Complete other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

 

Required skills:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in project management.
  • Minimum7 years of experience in leading technical teams toward a common goal or project within a larger project.
  • Minimum7 years of experience in reading and digesting technical information.
  • Minimum7 years of experience in interpreting or discussing information with others, which involves terminology

Preferred skills:

  • Master's Degree in Technology
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer focus, including proven experience managing customer needs and multiple work priorities.
  • Certifications or special training in Related Technologies.
  • Strong Knowledge of Mainframe Middleware (CICS)
  • Strong Knowledge of Mainframe Middleware (DB2 and/or MQ on Z)         
  • Knowledge of Mainframe Networking (VTAM, TCPIP, Comm Server, Connect: Direct, etc.)58220507CO
