Acara Solutions is seeking a hybrid Senior Systems Business Analyst for a medical device manufacturer in Buffalo, NY!
Type: Contract to Direct
Schedule: Monday-Friday, hybrid
Pay Rate: $50-60/HR
The Senior Business Systems Analyst is a key player in making sure the company's Manufacturing and Supply Chain software works effectively and meets business needs. They design solutions, oversee projects, fix complex system issues, and improve processes. They act as the go-to expert on how the systems support manufacturing, procurement, inventory, planning, and work orders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Design & Delivery: Translate business needs into system requirements, lead projects and updates, ensure solutions align with standards.
- Manufacturing & Supply Chain SME: Support work orders, procurement, inventory, and planning; troubleshoot issues and assess system impacts.
- Incident & Problem Management: Own issue resolution end-to-end, identify root causes, implement long-term fixes, prevent repeat problems.
- Enhancements & Continuous Improvement: Lead improvements from concept to launch, optimize processes, prioritize work by business value.
- Implementations & Global Rollouts: Support ERP rollouts and upgrades, balance global standards with local needs, ensure smooth go-live and post-launch stabilization.
- Testing & QA: Lead user testing, manage defect resolution, ensure thorough and reusable test documentation.
- Stakeholder Management: Gather and clarify requirements, drive adoption of standard processes, communicate clearly with technical and non-technical teams.
- Team & Process Maturity: Mentor junior analysts, uphold documentation standards, strengthen team processes.
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience as a Business Systems Analyst supporting ERP systems
- Strong experience in Manufacturing and Supply Chain domains
- Experience working with cross functional and global teams
- Experience delivering solutions across full SDLC lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion or similar ERP systems SCM:
- Manufacturing, Procurement, Inventory, Planning
- Experience with:
- System configurations and approval workflows
- OTBI reporting, HDL, integrations (APIs, extracts)
- Experience with global ERP implementations or site rollouts
- Experience in hybrid Agile/Waterfall delivery models
- Experience supporting post-go-live hypercare
