Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Grand Prairie, TX. Interested?
Here's what you'd do:
- Work proficiently with Linux/UNIX (RedHat, Rocky, Ubuntu), installation and configuration with Kickstart, and working knowledge of Linux "Command Line" functions.
- Experience with Scripting and Automation (i.e., Ansible, Perl, Bash, Shell Scripting, etc.)
- Install and configure network devices (i.e., network printers, scanners, plotters, PCs, etc.).
- Troubleshoot problems with network printing and scanning devices. Perform data termination/ activation in telecommunication closets, also known as network connections (activation of data drops).
- Repair and replace data connectors on network cables and data drops.
- Assist in the relocation of customer employees to the facility (move PCs and activate data drops in the new location).
- Troubleshoot network issues with PCs and LAN (duplex mismatches, duplicate IPs, corrupt firewall software, proxy configuration issues, etc.)
- Assist with imaging of laptops and PCs for deployment.
Here's what you'll get:
Pay rate: $22/hour
Hours: 40 (Monday-Thursday)
Length: Contract (12 month)

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 years of experience with basic technical hardware repair.
- Minimum 1 years of experience with setup and configuring PC's.
- Minimum 1 years of experience with desktop support.
- Minimum 1 years of experience with Linux/UNIX (RedHat, Rocky, Ubuntu)
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Experience with Installation and Configuration with Kickstart
- Experience with Working knowledge of Linux "Command Line" functions
- Experience with Experience with Scripting and Automation (Ansible, Perl, Bash, Shell Scripting, etc.)
Additional Information:
- Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check.
- In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the necessary employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
- Possible lifting may be required up to 50 lbs.
- Successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance
