Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Wendell, NC. Interested?
Here's what you'd do:
- An Electrical Assembler is responsible for performing sub-assembly wiring and final assembly wiring duties on products for Low and Medium Voltage Electrical Distribution Equipment such as LV Motor Control Centers, MV breakers, MV switchgear and Motor Control Centers, DC Electrical Vehicle Chargers, and Solar Inverters.
- An Electrical Assembler is responsible for performing sub-assembly wiring and final assembly wiring duties on products for Low Voltage Electrical Distribution Equipment such as LV Motor Control Centers.
- Perform sub-assembly wiring and final assembly wiring work to the highest level of accuracy and workmanship.
- Work with large power cables, including the correct method of crimping connectors.
- Perform proper stripping and crimping techniques.
- Assemble components on panels per the given layout or drawings.
- Conform with Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety policy and Management System and strive to continually improve the intended outcomes of the Management System.

Hours: 40 hrs/week (2nd shift) **Please note: training will be done on 1st shift for a few days prior to being moved to the 2nd shift

Pay: $19.36 /hr.

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in performing mechanical assembly (build) of a product.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in mechanical functions.
- Minimum 1 year of experience with commercial or industry wiring.
- Minimum 1 year of experience with standard hand and power tools, both pneumatic and battery operated, and wiring tools such as hand crimpers, wire strippers, and accurately read a tape measure.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Associate Degree.
- Possess some knowledge of electrical clearances.
- Ability to read and work with schematic drawings/layouts/wire lists with minimal to no supervision.
- Good team player.
- Knowledge base across related systems and equipment.
