Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Newton, MA. Interested?
 
Here's what you'd do:
  • In this role, you will assist with material handling, basic assembly operation, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace.
  • Receive, inspect and verify incoming materials against PO's and packing slips.
  • Pick, sort, and move materials between workstations.
  • Support line changeovers by staging and removing materials as needed.
  • Maintain accurate material identification, labeling, and lot/traceability controls
  • Assist with assembly, packaging, and labeling.
  • Maintain clean work areas and follow safety procedures.
  • Support production and warehouse staff.
  • Work may be needed in clean manufacturing areas.
 
Here's what you'll get:
Hours: 40 hours/week ? 1st shift.
Length: Temp (6 months).
Pay Rate: $25.00/hr.

Job Requirements

 
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in material handling, warehouse, or manufacturing environments.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Ability use a pallet jack
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing and warehouse processes and safety protocols.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work in a team.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
 
Additional Information:
  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check.
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the necessary employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
  • Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
