Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Walpole, MA. Interested?
 
Here's what you'd do:
  • This is an entry-level role that will provide training and the opportunity to work for a global company with a highly regulated work environment. 
  • A Production Support Operator is responsible for ensuring the production team has all the materials, supplies, tools, and resources needed to complete packaging orders. 
  • This role will be involved in manufacturing medical diagnostic test kits. 
  • Operate fill production manufacturing equipment. 
  • Inspect and package finished product. 
  • Verify raw materials to ensure batches manufactured contain correct components and quantities. 
  • Assist and partner with support personnel to troubleshoot manufacturing related issues. 
  • Follow production area procedures and area guidelines as written. 
  • Comply with quality system and regulatory agencies: FDA, ISO, OSHA, etc. 
  • Follow all area safety rules and procedures.
 
Here's what you'll get:
Hours: 40 hours/week – 3rd shift.
Length: Temp (12 months).
Pay Rate: $21.60/hr.

Job Requirements

 
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Print room machinery and Label creation.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • FDA Regulated Facility, Production/Manufacturing environment, Manufacturing equipment operation, Good Documentation Practices, good manufacturing practices, PC Skills (MS Office Software, Outlook, Word, Documentum, etc.).
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Problem Solving and troubleshooting.
  • Willing to learn new processes/functions.
  • Strong communicator.
  • Team player.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Fast learner.
  • Medical device industry.
  • Technical aptitude with labeling equipment.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
 
Additional Information:
  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check.
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the necessary employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
  • Position needs the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, gloves, lab coats, and safety shoes. 
  • PPE will be provided by the client. 
  • Individuals will need to use a perch stool or stand in a fixed position for long periods of time. 
  • Position needs lifting materials to 50 lbs. 
  • Based on business needs, individuals may be needed to work overtime or may be asked to modify their work hours.
