Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Buffalo, NY. Interested?
Here's what you'd do:
- Operate and monitor production machinery to meet production goals and support process trials
- Perform troubleshooting and communicate with suppliers to resolve product quality issues
- Conduct routine quality checks to ensure products meet technical specifications
- Document process parameters, downtime events, and maintenance activities accurately
- Maintain and update SOPs, work instructions, and process documentation
- Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and SPC methods
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on equipment, reporting issues as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following all safety regulations

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of related experience in battery, chemical, film, or high-tech manufacturing
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or higher in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience operating HMI/PLC-controlled equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read technical documents and follow detailed instructions
- Comfortable working in clean room environments and wearing PPE
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Experience with Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Mitsubishi PLC systems
- Exposure to roll-to-roll processing or slurry/ink production
- Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement experience
- Certifications in machine operation, safety, or quality
- Industrial Roller experience preferred
