Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Grand Rapids, MI. Interested?
Here's what you'd do:
- Responsible for performing a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations.
- which may include skilled hand work or utilizing automated production equipment.
- Comprehends and interprets a variety of technical specifications, terms and documents.
- Determines or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units.
- Assemble electronic sub-assemblies and final assemblies.
- Read and understand Engineering drawings as well as manufacturing work instructions.
- Perform all product build processes and work on any product directed by management to meet business needs.
- Manual and automated underfill, bonding and staking.
- Touchup and application of conformal/Parylene coating.
- Participate/engage in team meetings.
- Work on windows-based programs such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
Here's what you'll get:
Hours: 40hours/week.
Length: Contract (Temp to Direct)
Payrate: $19.00 - $21.00/hour

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of experience in electronic or electro-mechanical assembly.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Current certification to IPC A610 and JSTD 001 is but not necessary upon hire.
- Successful candidate will receive internal training as necessary and will be required to pass
- IPC A610 and JSTD 001 solder and rework certification tests.
- General knowledge of Lean or demand flow manufacturing practices would be helpful.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interface with team
- members.
- Close attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
- Demonstrated problem solving techniques.
- Moderate computer skills, SAP experience
