What You'll Do:
- Prepare specifications for low and high-volume manufacturing automation equipment
- Overall responsibility and accountability for production quality from definition to operational stages
- Design test fixtures and implement product and system tests
- Efficiently obtaining measurable and predictable results
- Create and present test reports in a clear and concise manner
- Planning, procuring, organizing and maintaining test equipment and materials
- Collaborate with product development team to incorporate test results
- Coordinate with manufacturing partners for product testing
- Set and communicate reliability requirements and targets for components, subsystems
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a technician or engineer in the manufacturing industry
- High school diploma or GED
What Sets You Apart:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Technology program at College/University
- 2 or more years of work experience in Solar Module manufacturing plant, a plus but not required
- Strong computer skills and demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, 5S, Six sigma, Toyota production system, and/or Lean Manufacturing training courses.
- Good Knowledge of the application of statistical tools in process control and product monitoring
- Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Systems (CMMS) is an asset
