Schedule: 2nd shift. Mon-Thurs 3pm-1:30am
About the Opportunity:
Extrusion Technicians are primarily responsible for maintaining production equipment elements like start-up, operation, changeover, shutdown, and preventative maintenance. Equipment may include but is not limited to, extrusion line equipment, workstations, tools, and or/dies.

What You'll Do:
* Follow and properly operate extrusion equipment in accordance with our Company Safety Policy.
* Perform manual tasks such as loading and supplying production extrusion line items and reworking and packaging products.
* Follow supervisor instructions for machine line operations.
* Report to supervisor with mechanical or operational errors.
* Responsible for keeping the work area clean and organized.
* Perform quality assurance checks and testing compliance according to company and/or design facility standards.
* Understanding of drawing/part specifications and metrology tools.
* Provide general plant, production line, and facility clean up or 5S.
* Properly report any found issues, discrepancies, scrap, or production waste during the manufacturing process.
* Ability to use multiple data recording programs and understanding of company's Erp/Oracle system.
* Basic understanding or willingness to learn extrusion machine equipment, operations, and in-process machine modifications to extrusion equipment to meet customer or product specifications.

Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 1 year of related work experience operating machinery in a regulated manufacturing environment.
What Sets You Apart:
- Experience with medical devices
- Good organizational and communication skills
- The ability to work in an environment with limited supervision
- Willingness to contribute to a continuous improvement environment while meeting the following responsibilities and requirements.
- Ability to work with small precision parts and metrology tools.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings or blueprints.
- Basic understanding of dimensional inspection techniques. Basic understanding to make machinery adjustments for desired outputs.
