Job Title: Senior Engineer II - Analog Design
Location: Ottawa, ON.
Employment Type: Direct Hire 
Industry: Semiconductor Manufacturing
Compensation: $90,000 - $140,000/ Year
Schedule: 40 Hours/Week
 
About the Opportunity:
  • Design and development of analog integrated circuits (ICs) for mixed-signal SoC products
  • Contribution to critical analog IP blocks used in timing products
  • Work on advanced circuits such as multi-GHz PLLs, MEMS drivers, and high-speed I/O
  • Support end-to-end analog design flow, including simulation and validation.

What You'll Do:
  • Collaborate with analog design leads and architects to design specific analog IP blocks
  • Perform circuit simulations across process corners and various operating conditions
  • Develop models of design blocks for integration into top-level mixed-signal simulations
  • Conduct block-level validation on silicon devices
  • Perform system-level lab evaluation and testing.
 
Job Requirements

 
What You'll Bring:
  • Master's Degree
  • 5+ years of direct experience working on analog and mixed-signal circuits
  • 5+ years of experience in high-speed and analog circuit design, including the following: ADCs, DACs, Filters, PLLs, DLLs, and high-speed I/Os
  • 5+ years of experience in scripting and automation using skill languages, Python, Perl, and Tcl
What Sets You Apart: 
  • PhD in Electrical Engineering. 
  • Strong fundamentals of circuit theory, design, and layout
  • Good knowledge of Cadence IC design flow and tools
  • Expertise in the system design of mixed signal circuits
  • Good knowledge of Verilog-A for analog behavioral modeling and simulation
  • Good communication and teamwork skills, and
  • Experience working with multi-site teams.
