Location: Buffalo, NY (Remotely)
Employment Type: Contract (12 months)
Industry: Banking
Compensation: $60.00 /hr.
Schedule: 40 hrs/Week.
About the Opportunity:
- Design and specify information systems solutions for new and existing applications.
- Serve as a principal application designer for major system modifications.
- Provide technically sound and scalable solutions.
- Lead systems analysis, design, and development (basic to complex).
- Act as a key individual contributor on complex projects.
- Coordinate development tasks across small to large projects.
- Prepare and manage technical components of project plans.

What You'll Do:
- Support day-to-day application operations and special projects.
- Ensure alignment with business functions, processes, and strategy.
- Assist in budgeting (expense and capital planning).
- Adhere to organizational risk, compliance, and regulatory standards.
- Identify and escalate risk-related issues.
- Support internal controls, audits, and regulatory requirements.
- Gitlab Administration
- Set up of new groups and subgroups to match the organizational structure
- Coordination and Analysis of teams to scope project/pipeline migration to target state
- Tactical migration of projects to the new structure
- Ability to update and validate AD permissions
- Migration of group level variables
- Updating branch rules to follow new conventions
- Aiding application teams to create protected environments
- Adding Unit Testing and Sonar jobs into branch MR approvals where needed
- Sonar Administration
- Set up of Applications and Portfolios to match the organizational structure
- Migration of projects into Sonar Applications
- Reporting for Applications and Portfolios to match the organizational structure
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in systems analysis/application development.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Gitlab platform administration
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in SonarQube administration
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience coordinating between Applications and business units.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience recommending and implementing systems solutions.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience driving project milestones and delivery dates.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience presenting to the target audience.
What Sets You Apart:
- Associate Degree.
- Familiar with application development software and hardware platforms.
- Intermediate to advanced pipeline support, including GitLab components
- Proficiency with personal computers as well as pertinent project management, word processing, and spreadsheet software.
- Capable of working on multiple projects of a complex nature.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to assist in issue resolution.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Detail-oriented.
- Good lateral thinking skills.
- Good understanding of the Bank's application framework.
- Subject matter expert in business with knowledge of utilizing applications/systems being supported.
- Advanced understanding of applications supported with a sound knowledge of interfacing/integrated applications.
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as autonomously.
- Ability to multitask for various components of complex projects.
- Advanced knowledge and focus on the entire system to work on projects outside of normal business-as-usual (BAU).
